Summer is Fast Approaching
Hi pet lovers! Recently we’ve did some new revisions to the site in an effort to help you navigate and enjoy the content we have on the website. At the same time, we’re putting new content, new emails and new facebook information up so that you can have the latest, and more vital information available.
While we were doing all this work to improve upon your experience I noticed one thing – while my head was down working on this stuff, the summer heat began to encroach on me! And that reminded me, of course, to how important it is to make sure your pets are comfortable this summer as temperature climb over 100 degrees every day…as the norm!
It’s true, while we live here we sometimes gain accustomed to the heat somewhat….but what that means is we can forget that our pets have a disadvantage to us. They don’t have the ability to decide when to be let in or what temperature the house or car gets. So, we have to be very aware of our friends to make sure we take them into account as well as we plan our summer activities. I think the general rule is if you are hot, likely your pet is as well! Be sure to read our article on how to handle the summer heat here in our article library and get the down low to a safe, happy and healthy summer.
